In 1972, Max Wilkinson began milking cows just outside of Morgan, UT, and in 1989, he decided to give home delivery a try. Today, Rosehill Dairy delivers its quality milk to customers and local businesses throughout Northern Utah. Family owned, run, and operated by Max and his sons Tim & Dane, the Wilkinsons are committed to providing their nearly 7,000 customers with the freshest products possible. In November of 2000, the family completed work on a new dairy plant in Hyrum, UT where both the milking and milk-bottling take place, making Rosehill Dairy one of the few “Producer-Handler” type operations in the state of Utah. This means that the cows are milked and the milk is processed and bottled all on the same farm. Although this translates into round-the-clock work for the Wilkinson boys and their employees, the resultant control over the process is worth it. “Being a producer/handler has its advantages,” Tim says, “it means less points of contamination and it is a big factor in the quality product we produce. It keeps the milk fresher.” For the past 22 years, Rosehill Dairy has honed its home delivery system and offers delivery of its dairy products (milk, cream, 1/2 & 1/2, cheese, sour cream) as well as other grocery staples up to twice per week. Since Rosehill is committed to providing its customers with fresh, local milk, their delivery routes are currently limited to areas close to their dairy – Cache, Box Elder, Weber, Davis, & Morgan counties.
